Re-surfacing

Resurfacing is a digital collage that manifests as vinyl wall installations and as postcards. This is an extension of a body of work that, for a decade, has centered on photo-based sculptures from printed images I have taken in places I have occupied and inhabited. The whole image is created from 15 years of my photography focused on the built environment and infrastructural landscape. This collage favors walls, roads, grounds and facades over objects to reinterpret the surfaces that make up our experiences.
