I am the Lead Designer (UI/UX, branding, marketing, all visual needs) at TipGenie, a Silicon Valley start up, focused on increasing the earnings of service workers. From the creation of wireframes to clickable prototypes, I have worked closely with the CEO and the development and product management teams. Involved in research, interviews, creation of user profiles, and the process of understanding how the app can respond to the needs of multiple types of users.
"Amy Yoshitsu is one of a kind, exceptional in many ways. It is rare to meet an individual with such a range of talents, which combine to make her the kind of UX/UI and web designer that makes any project possible. Over a year ago, without a clue on how to begin, I enlisted Amy to design my startup’s website, logo, branding, and mobile app UX/UI and have been working with her ever since. Amy has the ability to absorb information and to transform these ideas into design, at lightening speed. She also stands apart in her patience, flexibility, and capacity to communicate and be responsive to changes, from the slightest tweaks to significant pivots. Finally, Amy is a problem-solver. I have relied on her consistently for strategic advice on our startup. She is our resident Lead Designer and plays an integral role in the UX/UI design of our products, from the concept to implementation. She is hard working, sharp, and has a witty sense of humor. Amy is a delight to work with and it is my absolute pleasure to recommend her as a UX/UI designer and graphic artist. " - Elle Rustique, CEO of TipGenie
