I am a Freelance UI/UX, Web and Graphic Designer. Creating and implementing visual design while thinking through use cases and researching the user’s perspective is a fulfilling and functional analogue to my other passion – planning and building sculptures. I revel in the process of creating a complicated product piece-by-piece, problem solving as the structure comes together and, finally, polishing and modifying the final product as it becomes another component of the bigger picture.

Having experienced both being an in-house designer for one brand and a contracted worker focused on multiple projects and aesthetics, I can truly say that I enjoy both types of work. Once I discover the core values of a business or product, I enjoy implementing the best way(s) to communicate the vision and have a knack for both maintaining the message and exploring its growth in a logical direction. I also take pleasure in the early stages in which I can help others find their voices within new projects and provide an array of suggestions.

My services include but are not limited to UI/UX; native and responsive web app design and front end development; mock ups/renderings of products packaging, installation; graphics illustrations, logos, and branding; copy editing; photography; and tradeshow/small business consulting/planning.

Skills include Adobe CC (esp. Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); HTML5/CSS3, Beginning JS/JQuery; InVision, Proto.io, etc; WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace; writing, printing, photography.

I graduated from Harvard University with an A.B. in Visual and Environmental Studies and am currently based in Berkeley, CA.
